Informal settlements are a product of unplanned urban planning. It is natural that in the absence of urban planning that neglects the needs and desires of the underprivileged, it is necessary to witness the growth of automobile and informal settlements in different spaces within the city or suburbs. These settlements are one of the most susceptible urban areas for social insecurity and face numerous challenges including vulnerability, crime and insecurity, lack of spatial, social, economic and environmental justice that cause social insecurity in surrounding cities and endanger the environment and impose high costs. It becomes a city Among these settlements is the khat 4 hesar Karaj Neighborhood, which is beside the critical areas and has many problems On the other hand, the low level of economic activity of the inhabitants of the area and their inability to rebuild their homes and neighborhoods, as well as the lack of sufficient funds for the organizations and executors of urban renovation and rehabilitation projects and the existence of a natural process of erosion of buildings and neighborhoods, has also caused the expansion of settlements. Unofficial enclosures have been enclosedTherefore, to solve these problems, practical solutions are needed. It has a rich community that overlaps with the characteristics of informal settlements The present study seeks to present a model of social resilience in informal settlements by descriptive-analytical method using library documents and field data (questionnaire and interview). After collecting the questionnaire, the results were analyzed using SPSS, SMAR PLS and MAXQDA software. The proposed model and the impact of resiliency components on informal settlements were confirmed.
